DELETED: A Place That Shouldn’t Exist
DELETED starts as a pixel-art monster brawler. Then you take one long jump and land in a world you were never meant to reach: a glitching void of trap platforming where nothing can be trusted.
Act 1: The Arena
You play a little devil in a combat arena, shooting orbs at fire demons, ice golems and shadow beasts. They run at you and punch, so you dodge and fight back. Clear the arena, light the launch pad, and take the final leap. The screen goes black and a message says the world was not found. It loads anyway.
Act 2: The Place That Shouldn’t Exist
This is a 100-level platformer built around deception.
- Floors that look solid collapse, or were never there.
- Spikes pop out of “safe” ground.
- Saws sweep the path and crushers drop from above.
- Some doors that look like exits kill you.
Death and respawn are instant, and the game taunts you every time you fall for the same trick twice.
Two heroes, one body
Press Q to swap between the Devil and the Angel. Each fires its own element and has its own weaknesses:
- Blue barriers only break to the Angel’s light. Dark barriers only break to the Devil’s shadow.
- Holy ground burns the Devil but is harmless to the Angel. Cursed ground does the opposite.
Monster levels
Every fifth level (5, 10, 15 … 100) is a monster fight. Each monster has a weakness that takes double damage, so swapping forms at the right moment matters. At level 100 the final boss guards a princess trapped in a crystal.
Jam challenges used
- Mézclalo (Mix It): a monster brawler, a trap platformer and an elemental puzzle combined in one game.
- Cuidado (Be Careful): fake floors, hidden spikes and decoy doors you have to learn to read.
- Qué Raro! (How Strange!): the game suddenly becomes a different game.
Features
- 100 levels with a level-select screen.
- Three monster types (fire, ice, shadow) and a final boss.
- Plays in the browser with no install, on keyboard or touch.
Controls: Move: A/D or arrows · Jump: Space/W/Up · Swap: Q · Attack: F · Menu: ESC · Mute: M. On phones, on-screen buttons appear automatically.
